Biography
Menachem Shoham received his PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel and did postdoctoral studies in structural biology at Yale University. Following a sabbatical stint at Dupont in Wilmington, Delaware, he joined Case Western Reserve Univeristy’s Department of Biochemistry. Menachem served on NIH study sections and served on editorial boards of scientific journals, and sevred as director of the biochemistry undergraduate program at Case Western Reserve University. Research in his laboratory has been funded by a Transformational Award from the Falk Medical Research Trust. Menachem has over fifty publications and three patents. He recently founded a biopharmaceutical startup company to develop discovered antivirulence agents towards clinical trials
